I plan to wear these boots on a long distance hike. This boot is very comfortable, not too stiff yet provides good support. Fits my narrow heel and wide fore foot well. I really like the hindged eyelets that lock in the laces below the ankle. I can tension the lower part different from the ankle.

I've only had the boots for a short period of time and have not put them through all of their paces. But so far, so good. I will, however, be either adding to or replacing the foot liner as it doesn't give enough support and cushioning for my high arches and tired old feet.

I've only worn them a couple of times, but walked a few miles each time and I LOVE them. No breaking in, the size is perfect, and love the way they look. I haven't walked through any streams yet but I'm planning on it!

Good traction, support for ankles, good for climbing around on boulders, off trail.
