“I was looking for an everyday boot for cold, wet weather (it has been extremely cold and pretty snowy in Iowa this year). I have been primarily wearing them around town, but I definitely feel as though they would be great for day hikes. Traction is good and warmth is fine when moving (feet sometimes feel a little cold when I'm not moving). My only concern is that my toes get kind of numb when I am standing for an extended period, but I'm not sure I can blame the boot for this! I typically wear women's size 7.5 or 8 shoes; I ordered these in 39.5 and they fit great. I have received many compliments on these boots and actually ordered a second pair so that I can replace these when they eventually wear out!”
