Seem like good boots, but had to return them. ordered according to the sizing on the website, but the boots were both too narrow and too short. Otherwise seemed like great boots. wouldn't recomend them to gals with wide feet like me.

I chose not to keep these - I purchased several different summer boots and these did not make the cut, mostly due to the lack of correlation between my legs (short!)and the ankle support (very tall!).
These boots seemed adequately well made. I noted no major issues with construction. Size felt true. Boots were comfortable right away on my feet. They were noticeably heavier than the others I tried. Price vs. quality seemed fine - not amazing, but fine.

Bought these boots because I'm a guy with (VERY) narrow feet and these are great. Fit is spot on. No heel movement when I'm walking and plenty of room for toe movement (usually wear Thor-Lo light hiking socks). Break-in was about a day of solid walking but no hot spots. Good solid boot for moderate loads. I like the arch support as I have a high arch. Didn't need to change out the insole. The boot sole has a nice curve to help push off the step. Gore-tex kept my feet dry during severe Florida downpours. Feet do get a little warm due to the Gore-tex if worn for a long time on a hot day. The Vibram is good and sticky on wet surfaces. Had them a week and (so far) very happy with the purchase.

Great fit, no blisters or hot spots from day one. I suggest insoles though because my feet were very tired from the hard insoles. I love these boots-will be great support for backpacking. Also good for day hikes when with lots of rocks or stream crossings. They really aren't too heavy. I have a narrow heel and they fit just fine.

I will use these boots for summer hiking. I plan to do some traverses which will require crossing scree, steep inclines both up and down. I think these boots are supportive enough for my trips. I've been walking around it them and they are comfortable and don't seem to need a break in period. I did order them 1/2 size larger, after trying them on in a local store. For me, I need a half size larger in all La Sportive boots. I can't wait to use them in the mountains!
