This hiking boot feels like a very basic boot. Fine for a casual walk through the trails but not much more. I tie my laces tight for more support and the tongue is too thin so it hurt my ankle.Had to send them back.

I was given these as a gift and I love them! The laces take a little getting used to, but I would definitely recommend them.

At first feels loose on the foot and high above the ankle. Best fit when worn with thick hiking socks. Very warm and good looking boot to wear around town.

Everyday wear, especially in wet weather. Comfortable from the beginning and relatively light weight. Excellent value for the money!

I'm not one to write a review but after purchasing these for myself from a local shop and wearing them, I believe these boots are amazing. I have then told a friend to buy them and he loves them too. Then my brother in law and father in law saw them and tried them on and now I have to buy them both a pair. Truely a great boot and anybody that reads this needs to buy these boots, you wont be disapointed.

These boots replaced my Sundowners. What a comfort difference! Now all they have to do is last as long as the previous boots...

These boots have broken in well. I tend to look for wide shoes and these fit comfortably. The Vibram soles give these boots a very sure-footed feel on slopes and slick surfaces. The leather construction looks solid and La Sportiva has a good reputation for solid shoes. The tongue baffle connects to the shoe proper at even with the ankle line providing sufficient "waterproofness" for most situations.

Best attribute is the outstanding traction on muddy and steep hillsides. I have had many other boots that did not come close to the traction of these boots. They have proven themselves to be waterproof and comfortable as well. I am very happy with this purchase.
