La Sportiva Ultranord Gore-Tex® Trail Running Shoes - Waterproof (For Women)

I wear a 9.5-10. Bought the 10 and it fits in the length. The ball of my foot is wide, so far I have hiked for 2 hours without trouble; even though the toebox is not wide. I am concerned it may cramp my big toe. Rugged sole, very good for all terrain, and the sole is thick enough I can walk through most puddles/streams. Heavy, somewhat stiff. Poor cushioning: I am considering getting an insole to help. Can be worn with ankle socks. Gaiters are nice, but do not cinch tightly to my leg, the material they are made of is thick (good thing), so its draw string isn't effective.

These are great shoes! I've worn them a few times now for hiking and they are very comfortable and have good traction. I got tired of wearing my bulky hiking boots and these shoes are perfect.

Length was OK. My foot is wide at the toes, and the show was narrow at the toes, so I had to send them back. Shoe seems to have extra vertical room at the toes, but not enough horizontal room. It is a stiff shoe.

I just got these so can't comment on ruggedness or how quickly they will wear out but, they felt good right out of the box. I have one foot that is a generous 1/2 size bigger than the other so I look for shoes that can be adjusted with the lacings to provide the needed support for the shorter foot. These do the trick. They seem to have good support without adding insoles which is good news for me as I have a high arch. I do a lot of walking and wear out four pairs of shoes each year.

The shoes fit well. They came with the gaiters, which are also great.I use them to go hiking in the maintains in wet conditions. They are a little stiff (being Gore-Tex and all) but they are completely waterproof and comfortable. They fit well.
