I have just started breaking these shoes in. So far I have used them only on sidewalks. The sole feels stiff, which is what I wanted it for when I go hiking. The lining also feels a little snug around the small toe. I thought that was strange as the width across my forefoot otherwise feels good. With wearing it is improving. There are no other points on the shoe that have bothered my feet.

I love my other LaSportiva hiking shoes and had high hopes for these. I was sad that they were considerably wide and rather long. I really wanted them to be the right shoes! They seem well-made, attractive, and have very nice soles. I'd recommend these with a caution about the size.

Great shoe for walking in snow. I'm out in the snow everyday and wear these shoes with gaiters and my feet stay warm and dry. A little heavy for a shoe, but so much better than boots. The soles have great traction.
