    Cons:
    Poor Cushioning

    Everyday, Mixed Terrain, Paved Trails
    Describe Yourself:

    Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
I picked these up because you can't pass up on La Sportiva's for less than $60. My primary intended use was work shoes. Yes, I am fortunate, I can wear boots to work most days...These were perfect. So perfect in fact that I've taken them on a couple light hikes with a day pack. I would rate the hike capability shy one star due to a lack of cushioning. Besides that they're perfect. My boss and co-workers wan't a pair. Thanks STP and La Sportiva.

I bought these because of my experience with a pair of Makalus, the best hiking boots on earth. These new shoes are great for everyday wear as well as light hiking. Personally, I have problems with my feet, no arch etc. and I have to add an orthotic, but these work great in these shoes. Very comfortable, fast break in, light and easy to wear. I tried many shoes like these, and returned most of them, these are keepers.

Just looking for comfortable approach shoe for climbing and day hiking. I have a narrow foot and sportivas have always been spot on for fit. Wide footed hobbit types might need another shoe.

I bought these shoes over a year ago, and after that long of almost every day use, they are starting to wear on the sides, right there where they bend when you flex your feet to crouch. I'm ordering a new pair, half a size bigger, though...I order my regular size originally and it was a little unconfortable until they streched, now they fit like a glove. Great shoes all around

The other reviews really don't stress just how SMALL these boot run. I normally wear a 10.5, so I ordered an 11.5 and it is so small and narrow on my foot, I can hardly walk without pain. I would probably pass on these unless you can order 1.5 to 2 sizes larger.

I haven't had these shoes long enough to really break them in, but they are very comfortable right out of the box. They feel very stable and will work great for me on the trails.

My usual size was a bit small in this shoe and I had to order the next half-size up. They feel great right out of the box. Great fit and feel. And I like the technical way they look!

I am so glad that I read the half dozen or so reviews on this shoe before buying or I would have been in big trouble like many others. This is a nice work-in-the-yard shoe but I can't believe it is made roughly a full size too small. Be sure and buy it at least one full size over your street shoe or you'll be returning it like so many others.

This seems like a good shoe - much better than most hiking sneakers. The toe box is a little narrow, which is a plus if you want to do some casual bouldering. The upper seems a bit soft when compared to the (nice) stiffness of the footbed/sole. This shoe provides good friction and some edging.
