Both of my feet measure exactly 8.5, I took a leap of faith after reading previous reviews on the fit. The description tells you to round down. I ordered an 8 and I couldn't be happier. When I received my boots, I immediately put them on with my biggest socks. They hit me just below the knee and have plenty of wiggle room. Can't wait to wear these while teaching kids outside!

Just got these boots and have worn them twice for a short period. They are nice and tall, with a good snug fit. The side buckle allows for adjustment. I wear an 8 1/2 - 9 for women and bought the size 9. There is ample toe room for cotton socks in summer and thicker warm socks in winter, however I slipped them on barefoot and was still okay for a short walk. We board horses so I use them for field work and walking where we have tall grass.

Boots seem well made: Got them for my 11 yo to wear to two-week horse camp this summer. They're quite tall -- my daughter is 5-3" and the boots hit right below her knee. They're also wide but a bit short. Had to return a size 7 for a size 8 to ensure enough length, and they're quite roomy around the foot and leg.

I like the tab at the top which allows you to tighten the top of the boot preventing debris from doing down the boot. I use it in the barn, and love that I no longer have sawdust or hay going down my boots. It's very sturdy and looks like an excellent product.
Only reason I gave it a 4 is that they seem to run about 1/2 size small. But, even with my toes at the end, they work fine for the time I have them on.

Short in length, too wide in width. I always wear a size 9M in boots. In these, my toes came to the very end, yet my foot was swimming due to width, which felt more like a "D" than a "B." In addition, there was a mark across the top of one boot. Too bad, because they are otherwise nice rain boots.
