LaCrosse Big Horn II Boots - Waterproof (For Men)

I really like these boots. I bought them with hiking in mind and they are great outdoors and on long hikes. They have heavy soles and provide a lot more support than most other boots. They are very warm even in harsh weather. Yet, they still breath very well. I like them so much I sometimes wear them to work (in an office). Also, I wear them if my knees are sore from running. I don't have any other shoes that are as comfortable and supportive of my knees. Highest recommendation!

I bought these for use at a muddy Habitat for Humanity worksite. They are very comfortable, offer good support, and the smooth leather and sole tread both shed mud well. Unlike other reviewers, I found them to fit well at my regular size (9D), and they're even a bit generous at the toe. Perhaps the reports of tight fit were for larger foot sizes...

Was needing a work boot but this went beyond just work.

I use for work it a good pair of shoes and everything is great about the shoes.

Good value in a work boot. Good fit right out of the box though I ordered a half size larger per another sites suggestion. Waterproof and with a replaceable sole I expect to get a lot of wear out of these.

Work boots

This is review number 2, having worn them plenty during the last few months. Have bought 3 pairs of these boots for self and family- remember to order a half size bigger and I reckon you'll love 'em as much as we do. With the Shock Doctor Active X insoles and a pair of Bridgedale socks these become the most comfortable footwear that I have ever owned. Still only a 4 star because I haven't tested them out in the wet, so don't know if they're waterproof or not.

Okay the first day then gave me blisters on both heals after 2 hour hike. Very stiff and clompy. I ordered 1/2 size bigger as recomended and they were too big. Even so if they were the right size their way too stiff. Weeks to break in painfully!

I have a steep incline on my property that requires support for ankle and foot while I am mowing, digging, planting, etc. These work well. They are a little stiff but hopefully that will work out with wear. They will be used for outside work - no fancy stuff. I need them to be comfortable and useful.
