This is a medium weight waterproof, insulated boot that I use for working on 3 acres. The boots are very comfortable and are what I would consider a great buy at a great price. The boots are well made, the eyelets appear to be strong and will not pull out. This is a great lace up boot.

While not yet put to full field rigors, I've hiked around on easy terrain, and stood wearing the LaCrosse Quick Shots for five minutes in a bathtub filled with 6 inches of water. Here's the skinny so far:

    - 100% waterproof
    - Lightweight
    - Decent treads, though unsure of stability on mixed terrain
    - A bit on the wide side, the Medium width feeling almost like a EE wide; Easily remedied by thick socks
    - Less ankle support than I would like, but for 43 dollars, did not expect Asolo stability
    - Lacing system is a little slippy, with no locking lace hooks
    - The 900 denier nylon upper feels and looks quality and solid, and built to last
    - Sole is a bit thinner than I would like, absorbs little impact/shock, and expect some foot fatigue on long rough treks or climbs

That said: Overall, very pleased especially at this price. Will update with later review once I've pushed these boots to the limits.
