Lafayette 148 New York Deco Floral Jacket - Jacquard (For Women)

I have a few Lafayette 148 items, and they are very high quality. The hooks to close the jacket are very strong, they will not become undone. I have long arms, and the length on these jackets are perfect for me. The fit is excellent. It's a bit of an unusual pattern, and has some black in it as well as brown, so it's possible that this can be worn with either color bottoms/blouses. This will be a one of a kind jacket that will get compliments.

I was very pleased with the quality of this jacket. I have never seen fabric quite like this before. It has a beautiful sheen to it. It wold be great to wear for a special dinner out, a party, or on a cruise. The sleeves are made so they can be turned up to whatever length you like. Great price for a great jacket.

This is my other Lafayette 148 that I exchanged for a smaller size (as I never wore it and the tags were still on). STP is great about stuff like that. Fabulous material and workmanship as with all garments from this manufacturer. Styling is sophisticated. Even though it doesn't have petite sizing I can still get away with looking really good in this one because it has roll sleeves and no buttons. There are hooks but they are placed so as to not interfere with the fit. I plan on using this in more casual circumstances so as to get more use out it.

The jacket fits like a charm. I am often a between a size 8 and 10 and ordered the 8 and it fit perfectly. The shine dresses the jacket up, but I could see someone paring it with black or brown jeans as well. It is a lovely jacket and I will get a lot of wear out of it. My first event will be a casual holiday cocktail event this evening.

I took a good look at this jacket because of the positive comments on the website. Usually I forget that STP has dressware. This is a truly beautiful jacket. The material and workmanship marks this as an expensive piece of clothing. I rated it true to size even though I am a petite. Due to the fit even a short person can get away with wearing this jacket. The sleeves roll up as needed taking care of short arms. The torso has 2 hooks that are above the hips between the waist and under the bust. So you do need to have an hourglass shape. This is a close fitting jacket. It is not meant to be sloppy looking. The size 10 just fits. I'm afraid if I go larger the shoulders will be too big, taking away from the overall appearance. Keeps me honest with my calories.

This jacket is lovely--truly stunning and high quality material/construction. I will be wearing it for nights out with black skirts/slacks, but also with jeans and boots. It is a classic piece to have forever.

Absolutely one of the classiet piece of clothings in my wardrobe!

The fabric just didn't feel nice to me and it was a bit too shiny for me if that makes any sense.....
