Since I'm just recently in the "over 50" category I don't usually wear sleeveless dresses. I made an exception this time and I'm very glad. The dress is beautiful and it does fit my mature build well. It will pack well also so I can wear it for dressier occasions when we're vacationing.

The dress is lovely and the fabric looks to resist wrinkling across the lap from sitting, but the fit wasn't perfect for my long-waisted torso.

Felt sad to return this dress. It's the epitome of elegant simplicity. But the top half was much too large through the bust, baggy in the armholes, and too long-waisted. Buy it if you have a long waist and a substantial bosom.

I had high hopes from reading the reviews, and this dress is definitely well-made and of high quality. However, the top was tight and the bottom too loose, so I ended up looking like a pear. I also found the material to be quite stiff and scratchy which is not what I want in an elegant evening dress. I was sad to send it back because it is very pretty.

GREAT to wear to a wedding. Runs a size large so order one down. Might need a little alteration to fit perfectly, but when it does, NO dress is more beautiful! Bought it for a friend who is the mother of the groom. She almost overshadowed the bride!

Odd Proportions

This is a beautiful dress, well made, great fabric, but... The proportions are odd. I take a size 4 and over all the dress way too large in the hips and waist and front to back. I didn't bother to reorder it in the size 2 because I could tell the bust, shoulder and armholes would have been too small. With the right shape this dress would be a knockout. The fit was so odd, I would not recommend.
