    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I bought this as a present for my daughter. Neither she (in her 20's) nor I would wear it as it is too short and the material looks and feels cheap. It does not look dressy and the material looks like it will fall apart when worn. She didn't try it on as it was obviously too short. I have returned this item.

    What a steal for a high-quality product. The blue color is really beautiful. Notes: Great to layer over a base tank since the fabric is a bit thin. Order a size larger than usual since this company generally runs on the small size.

    As I said above, I really like this top. I can't believe that it actually retails for $140+. It hits right at the top of my pants/skirt so some may think it's too short. The material is thin but not flimsy or cheap. It is just made that way. I typically wear a medium (10) in this type of top and it fit just as it should.
