Closeouts. Once you’re done staring at their fiery exterior, you’ll notice that Lafuma’s Akteon OT trail running shoes have more to offer than visibility; for example, a waterproof OutDry® membrane, breathable air mesh upper, and sturdy Vibram® traction outsole.

Based on a review that said they felt big, I gambled on the 11.5 (vs. my 12), and won. They are British 11/ Euro 46, which is 12 USA, despite STP's reference to UK sizes only a 1/2 size down. They are very comfortable and stable, if a bit warm, but that was anticipated due to waterproofing. I like strong colors and enjoy the great, deep, rich red. Recommended.

This shoe is very bright; brighter than I expected, which I liked. The shoe has no tongue; it is almost like a slip-on w/ laces. Most other Lafumas on STP say if it is a half size too big or too small, but this said it was true to size. In my case it felt like a half size too big and the next smallest size was sold out so I couldn't re-order. Probably an awesome shoe if it fits.

Ordering, etc. went smoothly, but I must return these because they are too big by at least a half size. This is annoying because elsewhere on the site they tell you when to order a half size up or down, but they didn't here, leading me to believe these shoes were true to size. [...] Both of my feet are 11.5 on the shoe store measuring tool, and in every trail shoe I've actually tried on the 11.5 fits me best. (In fact, the shoes I bought to replace these are 11.5.) So I'm pretty sure it's the shoes here and not me.

I had never used this brand for anything before and was reluctant at first. I am glad that I went out on a limb. They have cushion and support in all the right places and didn't require break in time.

Great for running in cold weather, ie ice and snow. Great potential as a "lightweight" backpack shoe. Would purchase again. No break in required. Comfortable fit. Shoe really stands out in a crowd.

I have only gotten to run in the snow a few times with these, but they have done a great job of keeping my feet warm and dry. Very comfortable with good ankle support. They are very red, but I think they look great. The only thing I can say against them is that they are a bit heavy, but that is to be expected with these type of trail shoes. Great price on STP, can't go wrong.
