“I ran in the Vasque Amps for years, then those were discontinued. Moved on to the Montrail Hardrocks but I didn't want to pay full price anymore as fast as I go through trail shoes.
The LaFumas are just like those shoes listed above. On the heavier side but I like that for ankle stability and long distance runs/races. You don't get the ankle fatigue you get in lighter weight shoes. I had never heard of this brand before but it's a great find, I bought 4 pairs!!
I found this shoe to be true to size. I am usually a 9, 9.5. I bought both sizes so I could decide on one. They both fit fine.”
