These are my first trail running shoes and I couldn't wait to try them out on my first trail race. They were great and I had no problems what so ever. I even placed 1st place in my age division (if they had age division). The description of the shoe said that the shoe size runs differently but I ordered my usual size and they fit perfectly. Now I have to order a pair for my husband for our adventure races (bike, canoe, run). I put 4 stars only because this is my first pair of trail running shoes. Thanks for a great product

I bought these shoes because I wanted some cute, lightweight hiking shoes to go on moderate to strenuous hikes with my husband. I had been using running shoes, and these shoes definitely offer more support for hiking. I don't use them for trail running so I can't speak to that use. If you are looking for some good light-weight hiking shoes for day hikes these are perfect. As for fit I would NOT order a smaller size than usual like it says in the description (I'm glad I didn't listen to them). I noticed in some reviews people did not like the "double lace system" and I was a bit concerned. I think they were just trying to make the shoes "trendy" and more attractive to women. The laces can be removed and you can just use one set of laces instead of two which completely eliminates the super long lace issue. So, don't let the reviews about the laces concern you it's really a non-issue.

Despite the product description's warning, these seem to run true to size. The dual lacing system is kinda dumb. You really only need one pair; the bonus lace is nice, though. They seem quite comfortable but they do have that kind of sole that squeeeeeaks when you walk.

Order 1/2 down like suggested, did not fit, re-order to the original requirement of other shoes, will see when they arrive if they fit.

I was looking for a pair of shoes to wear to Bootcamp and for running errands. These are a great feminine color, sturdy and comfy. One funky feature is the lacing system. I did not care for it. Comes with 2 pair of laces that are to be used together on the shoe. I took one pair off and laced them up with a single pair. There's a little pocket onthe tounge of the shoe that holds the tied lace.

have used this right away for walking and light hiking. I took them on a trip out of the box and had no comfort issues. Because they are called "trail running" I assumed I would be able to run in them - but I really think the cushioning is not sufficient for running. I would say they are excellent lightweight walking and light hiking shoes, but wish I had brought a pair of running shoes in addition for more serious running.

Very comfortable and has the lace protector which helps to keep laces from coming untied.

I have now gone out numerous times with these shoes, and end up having to take them off at the end of the run because they don't have very good support. Unlike my old Solomon shoes that I had to trade-in because they were falling apart, these shoes lack bounce and spring, and I don't feel like I could climb on every rock. These shoes feel stifling, not like an extension of my feet.
