Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
“Recently bought three of these bags for the kids to use when backpacking. The price is great (was considering brand by manufacturer that makes a model named after a Winne the Pooh character, but price was too steep) and they are light enough for kids to carry. As other reviewers have noted, the stuff sack is too small for kids to use. Adults will have no problem. The 35 degree rating is extremely optimistic in my opinion. The bags just do not have enough loft/insulation for this rating. I would give it a 45 to 50 degree rating (with the exception of the foot box which is generously insulated -- odd when the rest is not). All in all I think these will be great backpacking bags for the kids due to design, cut, weight and cinching hood as long as we keep it to warm seasons.”
