Lafuma LD Naeba Down Parka - 550 Fill Power (For Women)

This is a wonderful winter coat. I usually wear a medium but based upon other customer comments I opted for the large, and it fits great. I really like the removable hood. The zipper could be improved. Like others, I would agree that it can be difficult to get started.

A lovely jacket. Very comfortable for walking the dog and driving. I've had many compliments in the short time I've had it. It does keep me dry in rain. My only objection is the sleeves are too long for me. To compensate for that, I can turn them up and they look like it was made for that.

I've worn this jacket in frigid temperature (in the 20's) and it was the warmest thing I own. It is also really lightweight for a down jacket and not at all puffy but rather fitted. I did have to return the first jacket I got and order a size up though. So I would say order a size up from what you normally wear because it does run smaller but once you get the right size it fits well with the exception of the neck which is still a little tight. I now own this jacket in both colors and I am happy with both. I like the cut of this jacket, a little more stylish and more fitted than your average down jacket yet there is still room to layer under it. I wear it mostly without the hood because I do not like the faux fur. The fur is not detachable but the hood is. The pockets are a little small but anything larger wouldn't suit the jacket. I also like the length of the jacket which goes past the hip area making it comfortable and not bulky. Overall despite some minor imperfections this is the best down coat I have found in terms of fit, looking stylish and being so warm and light.

This is a (mostly) stylish, good-looking parka. I've not yet worn it in cold weather, but based on the down/feathers filling, it should do well. BE SURE to order a size up. I ordered a size larger than usual, and still, this parka is a snug fit. The one big drawback in terms of appearance is the polyester "fur," which looks like something the cat dragged in. Maybe you'll want to trim it off?

This jacket will be great for cold days.
