Lafuma RSX Padded Recliner Chair - XL

This is the XL (extra large) chair; I'm 5'8" tall and 160 lbs and this fits perfectly. So if you are actually large beware. This is a lot nicer and more comfortable than the mesh versions of the Lafuma and works well in a very casual indoor setting / covered patio. Not sure it would be a good choice for exposed outdoor use; the mesh is probably better for that. Well made, lightweight, easy to move.

I have a hurt shoulder and it is a bit difficult to open and close - I am not sure if this would be an issue if not for my shoulder.

This model is the second xl padded lounge chair I have purchsed. Both of these chairs fit me better than the regular sized one that I also have. This feels as good as as an $800 recliner. I have one at a winter destination and one in my home state. It is easy to get out of because the seat is higher than other brands I have tried.

I use this chair for reflexology sessions + people often fall asleep because it's so comfy!

First off I am 6'-5" and 240 lbs and this fits great. Very comfortable. I have not had it outside yet but plan to use camping. So far it works well watching TV.

I read a review somewhere that the customer bought this recliner chair specifically because they had foot surgery...well, i found myself in the same predicament and only wished I ordered this chair earlier!! I was miserably uncomfortable trying to prop my foot up 24/7 - this chair saved my back and my sanity. I have since mostly recovered, however this chair is still in my living room! I will continue to enjoy it inside through the fall and winter and look forward to taking it outside come spring. I do a fair amount of camping and it is light enough to take with all my other gear. Also looking forward to some beach time with it. My only problem is that I have to fight with my family (including the cats) to sit in it! I'll probably order another one for my husband. I am almost 6 feet tall and the XL suits me well.

I used to use an inversion table to relieve the pressure on my lower back. Due to difficulty with my eyes, I can no longer do inversion. I have been using a Lafuma lounger for a couple of years whenever I feel my lower back getting tight, or whenever I feel like relaxing. It is my favorite chair for reading inside or out. It works so well for me that I recently purchased this one for my daughter's boyfriend (6'4"; 255lbs.) since he has been having trouble with his back. All we heard when he first sat in it was a long aahhhhh! We didn't see him move for a very long time, and when he did it was to move his "old" tv chair and put this one in it's place. I scored big with this gift!

This might not be the best looking chair in my house but it is now the most sat in chair. It is so comfortable that I can't use it to read in because I fall asleep! Love it.

I recently had foot surgery and need to elevate my foot above heart level for 6 weeks. A pillow under my leg puts my foot at the correct elevation and the zero-gravity feature prevents strain on my lower back. I'd had a LaFuma for outdoor use for years, but ordered this new, larger model for comfort. I've now discovered that these chairs can be re-laced, so come summer, we will have two comfortable outdoor chairs.
