“Very attractive; best for casual hiking”

“I bought these for both everyday wear (I live in the rural southwest) and hiking but have found them less than ideal for the longer, more arduous mountain hikes I've been taking lately. After a few miles and 1000 feet or so of ascent/descent my feet really start to hurt, so I'll need a sturdier boot for the rougher hikes. If you just need a good (and attractive) everyday boot these are perfect, but in my opinion they're too heavy and not supportive enough to be serious hiking boots.”
