i know right off the bat , when something is up to date with the latest in technology to make cold weather hiking enjoyable. When a product is so out of date, I will not even try it, because there are other hiking boots that have it all. I thought I would wear these for more casual events, because they were pretty, but they were so uncomfortalbe I sent them back.

I use these to walk the 4 mile round trip to the closest bus to work. Warm even with only lightweight ankle socks. Good support around ankle. Got a compliment from the woman in the cube next to mine who liked the color.

I bought these for both everyday wear (I live in the rural southwest) and hiking but have found them less than ideal for the longer, more arduous mountain hikes I've been taking lately. After a few miles and 1000 feet or so of ascent/descent my feet really start to hurt, so I'll need a sturdier boot for the rougher hikes. If you just need a good (and attractive) everyday boot these are perfect, but in my opinion they're too heavy and not supportive enough to be serious hiking boots.

The first thing I noticed after receiving these boots is they are comfortable right out of the box. Size-wise they seem a quarter size smaller than what would be 'true to size' but for me this was not an issue as they still fit fine. For the price, they are an excellent buy since comparable hiking boots are twice as much. Highly recommended!

I had read the other reviews about sizing. I went with my normal size and the boot fits like it should. I see these boots becoming my new best friend!

Haven't worn enough to fill in all the boxes, but my oh my they are beautiful looking boots and I sure dread getting them scuffed! Look great with good clothes, but I got a half size too small so breaking in slowly! Don't want to send them back and will mean I won't be able to wear with thick winter socks. They feel and look like they'll last for years and the grip is good. So pleased with quality of Lafuta have bought a pair of joggers which are great as well.

My new favorite everyday boot. Lots of support, especially in heel and ankle. Will feel stiff if you are accustomed to a boot with softer cushioning. Throw away the cardboard-y insoles (that most boots seem to come with) and put in your own favorite. I use NB with mid-foot metatarsal pad, and still have enough depth in toe cap. Go half size larger if wearing heavy socks. Don't know yet how well the nubuck will stand up, plan on standard nubuck maintenance.

I always take a larger size in a boot than in my regular shoes to allow for the extra bulk from socks. After reading the reviews, I didn't do this. Boy was I sorry. Back went the boot and I exchanged it for a larger size. I wear 8 in regular shoes. The size 8.5 in a boot works for me. These are lower on the ankle than my usual boots. I hope they give me the support that I am used to. I haven't worn them on the trail yet, but they seem to fit fine around the house. They will take some breaking in though.
