“This is a great shoe for casual and day hikes, and also for wet weather. Though I rate it 4 stars and am happy overall, I have two minor quibbles: 1) The shoe seems to run a full size small (the consensus on this web site was to buy a half-size larger, but I find even that is a bit snug); and 2) The dual lacing system is confusing for a beginner like me and definitely not idiot-proof. Lafuma is a French company, so their lacing instructions consist not of text but of three tiny and useless illustrations. If you've ever had trouble assembling Ikea furniture, believe me, you'll also have trouble with this.”
