Lambourne Cashmere Skirt (For Women)

Heed the warning to order up (I went up two sizes) and it fits perfectly. The skirt is straight, not tight, but not roomy either. I really think it is a classic skirt and sized as clothing used to be sized. It is a long-time keeper.

This skirt is made for stick figures not women with hips. I wear a size medium or 10 - this size 12 didnt' come close to fitting.

Great skirt for work or for holiday gatherings. Warm and comfy and looks great. Gives you a nice long, lean line with heels. Wonderful material. Not a skirt for running in though!

I always wanted a cashmere skirt, but did not want to pay the price, at the sale price I could afford it, only wish I could have gotten it black too. The fabric is simply beautiful, the fully lined skirt is a nice added feature. Didn't listen to other reviews and only ordered the skirt one size up and had to return it for the next size up. Then hasd to have the waist taken in. OVERALL I LOVE THIS SKIRT!!!!

Is true to size, but is not loose so might be tight on some people. Good quality and well syled.

This skirt is snug. Size up once if you like a tight skirt, twice for a conventional fit. I'm so glad Sierra carries these longer styles.

This runs a couple US sizes smaller 14 is more like a 10/12

MY RATING: between 4 and 5. I am US size 4 and UK size 10, which is 36" in hips and 26" in belly button area. Since size 4 was not available and the description suggested that the skirt runs small, I ordered it in one size larger, in size 6 - it fits me perfectly – it sits at the belly button and nicely wraps around my tushie (what Brits affectionately call a "bum"). It's quite a long skirt and the split in the back doesn't go high, which will prompt me to making smaller steps … or reaping the skirt. The fabric is nice and soft; I think it is called tweed. What may not be well seen in the picture is that there are two side pockets and they are finished with contrasting velour (black in a charcoal and brown in a camel skirts) – this even more suggests a country style of this garment. I think that the skirt will be very practical for winter. It should look great when worn along with a country-style jacket (again, Brits are good at making them) or a turtleneck/sweater. I have a hand-made designer sweater/coat in cream and brown and this camel skirt looks great with it. As much as I am not looking forward to winter, I am looking forward to wearing these skirts.
