“Nice coat but not a hacking jacket”

“The material used was very nice and the fit was roomy as it should be for a hacking jacket. The tailoring was good except for the missing button. However, the buttons should have been horn, leather or something more robust for a hacking jacket. So too with the obvious fauxe suede patches. The tweed is more suited for a nice sport coat or suit. It's a little too tame for a walk in the woods and does not project a robust and rustic jacket. This coat seems to be neither fish nor fowl.”
