Inexpensive shearling

I bought these with the coupon for $27. For that money I'll put up with a little inconvenience - I agree with the other reviewers that the fit is off. I usually wear 7.5, I bought an 8. The problem is not the sole, the upper is short. There isn't enough scuff to comfortably hold onto the top of my foot which is why it may feel awkward to walk in them. This is also why buying the larger size may not fix the problem. Given that they are house slippers, you can learn to shuffle around in them. They still solve my problem of protecting my feet from the cold kitchen floor in the winter. Plus, real shearling feels soft and cozy, nice on the bottom of my foot. The other thing I didn't like about these scuffs as much as the last pair of house slippers I had, is the rather solid sole.

I thought I would like the sole, as it will make the shoe last longer than a suede sole, but it makes the shoe too rigid. Next time I buy scuffs I will definitely look for shoes with a leather bottom, live and learn!
