    Added this to my collection for use on my 3wt rod. I love the Lamson reels for their great drag system. The reel is lightweight and smooth. I now have 4 in various sizes for use on my 6wt, 5wt, 4wt, and 3 wt rods.

    Super light and super smooth. The litespeed is great. I have two other Lamson fly reels and this one tops the others and at the price I paid at STP can't be beat.

    The 1.5 Litespeed is better then the sie 2 litespeed on a 5 weight because the 2 is pretty big. I feel like Im using a saltwater reel on a freshwater set-up, just big, maybe more capacity, but dont need over 100 yards of backing. I have an older (2)that I now use on a 6 weight. The finnish is the new improved Hard Alox before they changed it, too the 2012 version Hard Alox II. It looks sweet and I love how durable these reels are. I plan on keeping it as long as I can keep it running!
