    Great reel, I already own 3 of the smaller sizes. Using these for 8 - 10 wt. skagit and 8 wt. grand spey lines. There is plenty of room for backing whether using it for designated line wt., spey and/or saltwater.

    I bought this reel as a back up / alternate for a 13' 7wt Spey Rod for summer and winter run steelhead in the Pacific Northwestand it is great. I have a Lamson for trout and like that reel this one did not disappoint. Super smooth drag adjustment and ample space for backing, running line, and Skagit or Scandi shooting heads.
