“The Lamson innovation to minimize parts, lighten the design and be a true large arbor for quick line pick up is met with this reel. The push out spool saves numerous parts that could require maintenance. The Hard Alox process makes for a very attractive look and gives the metal surfaces a superior coating to fight off dings and scratches. The drag is smooth and totally sealed with the O rings. Drag is not affected by dunks in water nor dropped unto the sand. The only issue I have with it is the clicker. It's noisy going out and noisy reeling in. It's louder than even the old pawl systems.”
