The fabric is a good quality medium weight corduroy. They are made well and they fit very true to size.

As such, the pockets are a bit restricted. On the other hand, you can wear them on a wide variety of occasions. They're not quite as dressy as corduroy slacks, but they're nicer than blue jeans. The fit is good.
