Reviewed by Jodi from West Virginia on Sunday, March 9, 2014Great sharpener and knife for the price! Great deal!
Reviewed by David from Maryland on Saturday, February 15, 2014This combos is exactly as described - a hand held sharpener with two pieces of tungsten-carbide set in a "V" in an easy to hold handle with a guard to prevent you from cutting your self on the sharp blade. Sharpening is easy and the knife is a solid little plastic handled lock-back with a textured rubber insert on one side and a belt clip on the other. The blade is sharp out of the box, and it is easy to open one handed.
Reviewed by Spudnut from Utah on Thursday, November 14, 2013For the price how can you go wrong? The knife itself is pretty cheap but still cuts well. It went to my glove box. The sharpener does the job very well and only takes 2-3 strokes to put a good edge on a knife, considering it's not too beat up. Well worth the money. I bought 2.
Reviewed by tchrgary from Springfield, MO on Monday, July 1, 2013Both the knife and sharpener are great quality and work well. The sharpener removes a lot of metal with each stroke, so be careful and check the sharpness after only a couple of swipes.
Reviewed by James from Seattle on Saturday, June 1, 2013If you're buying this for the knife, save your money, but the sharpener is great. I've been looking for a carbide sharpener for a while for reshaping the edges on badly neglected knives and I can't believe how well it works. One or two swipes will bring back an edge that would take hours with ceramic rods.
