    Cheap, taking hunting as theyare compact and light. Had trouble with the fine edge of my hunting blade catching on the edge of the holes. Suggest you sharpen your old knives first to take off the diamond burrs before using it on your best knife

    Few know how good diamond stones are. I use mine at the sink so I can keep it wet -a drop of soap helps, too. This Lanski has more surface than the Smith sometimes sold by STP but is not the same smooth quality. Still a very good buy.
