Las Istrion Bike Helmet (For Men and Women)

I gave this to my husband to replace one that had taken a blow when he suffered a mild concussion as a result of being "doored". He has been happy with it's fit and comfort. It gets a lot of use as his bike is his primary commuting vehicle. I am glad that it hasn't been put to any toughness tests.

Our team kits are black, white with orange highlights so the white/carbon/orange LAS is a natural match. Very comfortable fit and extremely good ventilation. Looks sharp on...pro. Has a "soft" feel on the head, not plastic-y like some helmets. Bug net is a nice touch too. I'm a medium in Giro and a small/medium in Lazer. I have this set at almost the smallest setting and fits great. However, if you are a small in Giro, not sure this would fit you.

The best part about this helmet is that you can adjust the height where the helmet and straps come into contact with the back of your skull. I have a large head in all dimensions, and this helmet fits great. I was 1/4" inside the max circuference listed for sizing and I feel like the helmet fits comfortably and securly with out having the mushroom head look. The plastic shell on the foam looks fairly thin. Not a helmet I would toss in the back seat or let roll around in the trunk. Hopefully, my head won't have to test its durability.

LAS puts together an excellent bike helmet. I have a small head, and it fits just fine. It looked big, but the range of adjustment is impressive. The ventilation and padding inside helmet and on chin strap are very well thought out and executed. These helmets get rave reviews on STP, and I see why. Very lightweight also. I would likely give 5 stars, but have not yet been out for a ride due to rough winter weather.

Havent had a chance to really test this out being december and all, but for being one size fits all it is a great comfy fit for my big head and its lightweight. I like the removable mesh liner and summer/winter pads. A quality feel all round, with little extras like a protective bag included. As for how good the cooling is on a 90degree day of racing in July, can't wait to fnd out. LAS helmets have all the US certification stickers so you can still use this in USAC events next yr, unlike your catlike from wiggle/PBK.

The helmet is really well-made and comes with additional pads, a cool-max liner, a nice chin pad, protective bag and additional decals (but the decals are weak and ripped when I handled them). The front of the helmet allows for glasses. My head is longer than most and the helmet fits well but not perfectly. That's my ancestors' fault not LASs'

Extremely comfortable. In temperate weather I forget I have a helmet on at all. For those of us with longer or oval faces, the sleek profile helps eliminate "mushroom head" effect.

I was very cautious about buying a helmet online. I've tried every Bell, Giro, Specialized and Trek helmet in the county and couldn't find one that fit. I have a long-oval head and anything that was long enough to fit was also so round that I could fit my hands in the gap along the sides of my head (above my ears). This helmet feels like it was made specifically for my head. The helmet has lots of fit adjustability and nice touches everywhere. Padded chin strap. Buckle is off to the side rather than under your chin. You get 2 sets of pads - one for summer, one for cooler weather (it has a full mesh lining). And a helmet bag too. Highly recommended - These are really nice helmets. (I didn't give 5 stars because I haven't ridden with it yet.)
