Las Squalo Bike Helmet

Terrific helmet: Aggressive "ridged fin" styling as per its name Squalo ("shark"), amazingly light, precise adjustment, separate/removable interior liners for hot and cold weather riding, VERY comfortable padded chin strap, totally distinctive look that doesn't have that bulbous Alien Brain look of so many other helmets. Also comes with soft carrying case

Super light, aimed at a more round-headed rider but with the included pads can fit an oval head perfectly, two pig tails work with this helmet

Great styling and comfort

Light and airy. Can adjust simply and quickly. Mostly forget it's there although sometimes when you turn your head it can be a little noisy. Not really an issue. May want to remove chin padding but then have to figure out what to do with extra webbing that it hides.

I live in Florida, I ride every day, it's hot here. I really appreciate the ventilation of this helmet. I have a big head and it fits perfectly. An unexpected plus, the colors match my new Trek bicycle...I'm so cool.

Excellent helmet for warm weather. You can defiantly feel the ventilation going through the helmet. The ventilation does cause a bit more noise than what I am use to when riding in the racing position, but not to the point of crying about it. I have noticed my pace has gone up a bit since I've changed helmets and my neck doesn't hurt anymore. The extra padding / bug guard is nice for the cooler months of the year.

Fantastic helmet - perfect fit (especially for my oval head), good ventilation. Very light given the quality construction and solid exterior (yea!). Secure & comfortable fit. Full interior lining is outstanding - especially since LAS provides both summer and winter versions. Even the strap system is thoughtfully done, including a chin pad. Very well designed - this is the best helmet I've seen at any price. NOTE RE FIT I'm a 58cm and tried both S/M and L/XL sizes... if like me you could go either way, go for the L/XL. The S/M shell size just perched on top of my head, the L/XL shell gave much more coverage and a better overall fit - well within the available adjustment. Better protection too, and room for a liner when winter comes...

A good helmet that feels solid, as it should. Good fit with minimum adjustment, vents work perfectly. I hope I do not have to test it's durability.

Nice helmet but only comes in 2 sizes. I measure 22 1/2" & I ordered S/M. It was a little too small so I have to return it. I have apprehensions on ordering the Lg/Xtra Lg & since there are only 2 sizes, I may have to choose a different brand.

Fit and adjustment are top notch. I easily got it to fit snuggly, with no looseness when I shake my head. The fact that the padding covers the whole interior of the helmet, rather than a few strips, makes it feel very secure. The full exterior wrap keeps the foam from getting dinged up, so this helmet should hold up well. My pet peeve with most helmets is that the pads wear out first, and full replacement sets are usually non-existent. (My Bell helmets have come with a few replacement pads, but not the whole set.) This comes with a whole helmet pad that can reportedly be removed and washed, as well as a 2nd "winter" pad. My other complaint is that most helmets are basically made from exactly the same materials, so why does pricing run from $30-$300? I snagged this for a two digit price on sale, so I do not feel too bad about the high cost. I expect this helmet to last a long time - I hope I do not have to find out if it is crashworthy.
