I switched to the LAS after stinking up a Bell Pneumo for 4 years. The LAS is slightly heavier, but seems to stay in place on my head a bit better than the Bell. I don't really notice the helmet is there, which is probably the point.

This is an update to my earlier review (04/19/2009). I put the Squalo to the ultimate test a couple of days ago when my bike got caught in some railroad tracks and I did an endo. The helmet passed with flying colors. It cracked in two places and I had a concussion, but a CT scan back at the hospital showed no brain damage -- unlike the rest of my body! This is why you need a helmet. Get a quality model that fits properly and live to talk about your epic crashes. I'll certainly be replacing my Squalo with another one and will be back out on the road in 6 weeks.

This is my second squalo A terrfic helmet However, this one did not come with a winter liner (i.e. liner with netting over vents), nor a helmet bag. Customer service is looking into whether their supplier actually provided those items with the helmet. The helmet is so good its not a deal breaker, but be forewarned you may not get both liners that should be included with the helmet I'll update post when I hear from customer service

This helmet is comfortable and the fit is excellent. The adjustment at the back of the helmet is easy to use and nicely adapted for use with balaclavas for cold weather riding. I like it!

Nice product. Shipped same day. Easy return. Stp is great. This helmet just made my head look like something out of spaceballs. Good quality product though.

I use the product in time trail and triathlons. I ware normal glasses and can ware these under the visor of this helmet

Description says it's gray and fuchsia, but it's actually pink. I don't pay much attention to color since it seems to be a great helmet, but just know what you're ordering.

Nice agressive looking design. Great ventalation and fit for a very reasonable price. This is my 2nd LAS and I would buy again.

This is a quality helmet. If you are looking for quality, durability, and style...this is the one!!

So far I love this helmet compared to the Bell Volt helmet (also a great helmet) and would absolutely recommend it others.
