I ordered one size larger as most Ralph Lauren stuff seems to have a tapered cut to it. That turned out to be a smart idea as even at one size larger I could barely close the button comfortably. Also the shoulder, while fitting fine, turned out to be too pointy for me. I need a softer shoulder.
I decided to return it as even though I liked the quality, it just was not cut right for me. -

Wow - the sleeves are short!Reviewed by Kevin from Minneapolis on Tuesday, October 14, 2014Seems like a nice jacket and the fit in the torso was very good (6'0"-172 lbs and ordered a 42R) but I wear a 35" sleeve shirt and the sleeves were so short they could not be lengthened enough to fit so i had to return it. So if you're a "knuckle-dragger" like me you should probably pass on this one.
