5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful Jacket
Reviewed by Sharon from San Jose, CA on Friday, October 2, 2015
I got this jacket in gray and in the purple for my husband. He usually wears a 42R but I got the 44 also for him to compare. We kept the 42s. This jacket is gorgeous and elegant. Beautifully tailored, crisp shoulders, pretty lining, excellent stitching, beautiful velvety fabric. Couldn't be better and the price was crazy low. I wasn't sure he'd like the purple, but it's a nice dark eggplant color and he loved it. So much, in fact, that he's wearing the purple one instead of a suit to the symphony tomorrow night for our anniversary. I recommend this whole-heartedly. Sierra also packed it perfectly, so we took it out of the box and it was wrinkle-free and perfect, ready to wear. These come on a nice wide shouldered hanger with a plastic cover, factory fresh. Really nice.

The Lauren Mini Corduroy is a well-made, jacket. The color is rich and the fit is extremely comfortable (42L). Appropriate for both casual events and for those venues that require some "dress up" etiquette. Excellent value and I highly recommend.
  • 5.0 out of 5 stars. Smashing!

Took a risk and bought this for my boyfriend, whose favorite color is purple... but not for clothes! But wow is it beautiful; a deep (not gaudy) currant color, and the wake of the corduroy is so narrow it's soft like chenille. He gets compliments from women and men every time he wears it -- usually with a charcoal or black button-down and dark jeans. Very nice quality, true to size, and an unbelievable price. Thanks STP!!!

About Lauren by Ralph Lauren

Born and raised in the Bronx, Ralph Lauren began to cultivate an appreciation for men’s fashion at an early age. After spending two years in the army, he soon secured a job for Brooks Brothers. By the age of 26, he had begun making his own ties using repurposed fabric, selling his wares to small shops and boutiques. After securing a backer in 1967, Ralph Lauren opened his first store, which quickly grew into a full-fledged fashion label. The rest, as they say, is history. Today, Lauren by Ralph Lauren suits are still synonymous with impeccable, modern style and Lauren by Ralph Lauren dresses remain on the cutting edge of fashion.
