This is a lighter weight boiled wool which may be misleading to those familiar with the heavier European products, and I'm wearing it as a sweater. The chrome "hardware" is heavy so this looks best buttoned up, and it is long enough to look great with leggings and boots. The sleeves are intended to be cuffed--they are split and flared, but if you have long arms you have some additional length to work with. I've seen no problem with the pilling mentioned by another reviewer; I purchased the gray. Can't believe this was available at such a reasonable price!
