“I do a lot of trail maintenance, and somehow managed to bruise my wrist a couple of times recently, so when I was looking for new gloves, these caught my eye. Pros: They work well to protect my wrists from being hit, and have the added bonus of covering the placket opening of my sleeve, so no more mosquito bites there! Cons: A few devil's club thorns get through the deerskin suede "hands," and dirt and other things sometimes get scooped into the rigid protective cuff--and down into the hand covering. They would benefit by the addition of some elastic near the junction of the two materials.”
