    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    Waterproof but doesn't look or feel like a raincoat. Pretty warm on its own, but cut just big enough to go over a sweater, vest or blazer. I don't doubt this coat would stand up to upland hunting, but I save it for weekdays and claybird shooting. Looks great and keeps out the rain with a waxed cotton fedora or a wool crusher.

    Great coat. Is waterproof without being clammy. Roomy enough to allow a heavy sweater or a vest or even a blazer underneath. Tough enough for the field but looks good around town. Somehow managed to lose my first one and found another here. The strap, gents, is if you care to take off the coat; you can carry it like a backpack. Wish it came with a hood, but for the discount you get at Sierra, hard to complain.
