Le Chameau Nairobi Ankle Boots (For Men)

Imagine rubber boots with great style and bedroom slipper comfort.

I normally wear a US size 9 1/2 boot. I originally ordered the Nairobi boot in size 43 (US 10) which absolutely dwarfed my foot. I returned it for the smaller size 42, which is supposed to be the equivalent of the US size 9, but the boot is still extremely large and fits very loosely. If I went to the 41, the boot would be about a half size too small, so I am sticking with what I have. I wear the boot with two pairs of bulky socks to keep it from clunking about, but will probably add an insole to remedy the situation. Overall the boot is very nice and the craftsmanship is superb. The leather interior lining is especially well done and soft to the touch. The boot is a little heavy, but still a worthy pair for hunting and short hikes.

These boots are barely worth the sale price,when compared with shoes in the same catagory.

Traisped two weeks in Scotland during a time when the rain totals for two days was equal to that of a normal August month. My feet stayed comfortable and dry. Have used the same pair of boots for rainy-day walks in the park for several years and am now looking for a pair to give as a gift! They do the job -
