“Nice Boot but Sizing is Off”

“I normally wear a US size 9 1/2 boot. I originally ordered the Nairobi boot in size 43 (US 10) which absolutely dwarfed my foot. I returned it for the smaller size 42, which is supposed to be the equivalent of the US size 9, but the boot is still extremely large and fits very loosely. If I went to the 41, the boot would be about a half size too small, so I am sticking with what I have. I wear the boot with two pairs of bulky socks to keep it from clunking about, but will probably add an insole to remedy the situation. Overall the boot is very nice and the craftsmanship is superb. The leather interior lining is especially well done and soft to the touch. The boot is a little heavy, but still a worthy pair for hunting and short hikes.”
