“I want to thank the first reviewer; he was right: a size 44 is like a 34 waist. Length is 32. Nice details and excellent quality of construction. No one can imagine these pants are waterproof; your friends will be amazed. As a woman, it is almost impossible to find waterproof pants that are not bulky and still attractive. These pants are perfect for rainy walks without feeling embarrassed about how you look. There is a minimal amount of bulk because of two layers--soft, attractive outer and Gore-Tex inner--but it is not too noticeable. The only unattractive feature is the pockets on the sides of the legs, but they do lie flat. You could wear these hiking or backpacking, but they are too nice to abuse this way. You will never find pants like this again, unless they are Chameau.”
