I was hoping for a three season jacket I could wear around town or when taking my dog for hikes. Something that would look okay with a sweater and tie or with a fleece sweatshirt. This works. The fabric is bombproof - no snags when bushwhacking thru greenbrier. Waterproof in a storm and completely windproof. It's like armor. Cut is generous: maybe a bit loose with just a shirt, but easily able to handle as many layers as I need in coldest weather. Great technical features, but not fussy or over-engineered. Only downside is that the French do the zipper reversed - loose side is on the right - which takes some getting used to.

Probably wear mostly in rainy weather, they are just soooooo cute!!!!!!!!! I haven't had a chance to wear them outside yet, but I did try them on though, they felt ok, but, whatever, I will make them work for me! They are just too cute!
