    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    It may be part of the design, but these look like used (abused) shoes. The color/design is *definitely* flaking off, and looks really bad. I am stuck with them, because returning them would cost more than the shoes cost. They are comfortable enough, so I will probably wear them some, and they were cheap. But still, not what I was expecting, and definitely not worth the MSRP!

    The paint does not peel. The size is right. The only thing you need to ask yourself is can you handle the design. you will get a lot of looks wearing these shoes. Once people find out they are leather they just have to ask were you got them. Some guys like them most girls love them. They are cool but very bold.
