Very high quality and handsome materials, Questionable functunality of the securing mechanism. Unlike traditional buckle fasteners,this belt relies on a a small post which inserts into the appropriate slot.The post has a tendency to slip out of the selected slot, negating the securing function of belting. I had to return this item, despite it's appearance.

Great belt at a good price!!! More than I expected.

This is a very distinctive belt that goes well with jeans. It runs a little big and is darker than in the photo as others have noted. I would add that it doesnt close very tightly so if you really need it to bear a load, this is not the belt for you; it is more ornamental.

I bought this to dress up jeans for weekend night crawling and it will work well for that. It looks very cool but the fastener isn't very secure and the belt is sooooo wide.

the only thing i will say on the con side was the picture shows swirls of brown in the stone cut and the belt i got was black stone with a little bit of white and i wished it had brown in it too. other than that it as as described.

A unique and beautiful, very heavy and well made buckle, matched to thick, wide and unique leather. This is the most I have ever spent for a belt but it is well worth the money, especially at what Sierra is selling it for. Buying a belt without trying it on is always an adventure, and this one is no different - I have a 33 inch waist and used to buying one size up, but the 36 inch belt is too large and I will need to send back for an exchange. The quality and beauty of this belt is worth the bother to get one that fits.
