No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I have not washed these jeans yet so I'm not sure how that will go. I have reason to think that the denim might fade as it is very cheap. And there are no French or double seams which I like in a jean. Other than that, they are jut ok. I would much rather wear the Carhart jeans STP sells. I will save these for just bumming around the house or for walking my dogs.
