“I have used this on long day hikes and a short & steep rock scramble. Carbon has the benefit of lightweight and shock absorption. It will be interesting to see if they stand the abuse I will put them through, but if my last Leki's are any indication, they will go the distance. The poles collapse small for packing and even served my 4 year old son well on a hike we did last weekend. Great grips, for both comfortable grip, perspiration control as well as the ability to get on top of them. Finally, the speed of adjustment is easier and faster to use than my 5 year old Leki poles. Great purchase, great price, great product.”
