Recently started using trekking poles on my hikes, what a difference! takes LOTS of strain/stress off the knees both climbing and descending, and great for helping keep your balance too. Had an older cheaper set of poles, but constantly worked loose, no such problems with these poles, and the grip/ wrist straps were very well designed.

The cork handles are comfortable and didn't cause any blistering or sweating. They are a little tricky to adjust. Not that they are difficult, just a bit non-intuitive. All in all, a great purchase. Especially for the value.
