They are lightweight and the grips are comfortable.

These poles worked well. I am still not sure about the shock device. It really doesn't help at all and is just another thing that can break. Took the poles out for 35 mile trip this week and found them light and easy to use. The cork grips are excellent. Another thing that is nice about these poles are that you can put snow baskets on and ski them in the winter. These poles will be used hard. They looks like they can take it.

This is my first pair of trekking poles so I really can't compare them to any others. But I did use them for the first time this last Sunday on a hike to the top of Sentinel Dome in Yosemite which I have climbed many times before. I normally have some balance problems when hiking in such rugged terrain, which is why I bought them, and they made an unbelievable difference. I did find them very lightweight yet sturdy, and with a comfortable grip just as described, and I made it to the top in half the time. I am still figuring out to make some of the adjustments on them though as the directions weren't very complete. I'm glad I spent the extra money and got a better quality pair and ones designed for women.

These are simply the greatest. Instills self confidence because you feel safer. I hike with a dog every day in a national forest. My times for different routes have decreased significantly. I would not have thought these trekking poles would have made such a difference - but they have. Thank you for carrying such a great product.
