“these poles worked really well with our backpacking trip. we backpacked up to 8,000 ft with different terrains: rocks, boulders, dirt trails, crossed small steams & a huge river. the poles made the climb up much easier & allowed balance. the anti-shock system was a wonderful perk. the poles were light enough to carry throughout the hike, easy to adjust & the locking system worked throughout the trip. i did not need to re-adjust the poles during our 5 hour hike. the grips to the handles were soft & comfortable. overall a great set of poles!”
